this is the 1st year i am not celebrating Chinese new year back at home. At first, i was quite excited about that but when the real day is getting near or till today, i was kinda feel left out. We did have our reunion dinner together with some friends, this is the 1st time i understand that preparing all the food to be serve are very tiring, thanks mum for preparing so many delicious & marvellous food all these years without even complain (i miss mum's cooking)..=(! though is tiring, in my heart i am feel with joy cause every1 enjoyed the food so much & is glad to work hard for those u loved.
when the clock's tick to 12, everything around me is so quiet...no firecrackers at all!!but mum did make an effort to call me at 12(m'sia) time & let me feel the heavy festival atmosphere there!!aw...i miss home so much~
Today is the 1st day of Chinese new year but seem that is just a VERY NORMAL day for me, i woke up pretty late & din do much things. This is the part i hate cause i should be going to home visiting if i am back at home!! During dawn, we did went to China town to watch some lion dance performance which is not even as good as those back in M'sia.
this is how i spent my Chinese New Year at foreign country!! quiet & peaceful...this lead me miss home some how more!! is so good to be at home i always think that!!
