A THERMOS has been revealed as the suspicious package left in a city bank this morning, which forced buildings to be evacuated and the bomb squad 'robot' to be brought in.
Around 10am, police and emergency services were called to the National Australia Bank in King William Street after a man in his 40s, was seen to leave the drink thermos in a public area of the bank.
Police quickly evacuated the bank and surrounding buildings, and cordoned off the area, restricting pedestrian and road traffic on the eastern side of King William St.
The police bomb squad brought in the 'robot' which x-rayed the package, and a technician removed it in a large sealed bucket around 1pm. It's been taken away for further testing.

this is wat happened tis morning in adelaide city!! the king william street is the main road i used to go to sch everyday!!this incident make the main road blocked about 3 hours!! i din really c wat happened but devil Ee was so excited cuz she is someway near when this incident happened as we said to meet at sch around 11 today!! dunno i m lucky or wat? =)
